	Common Ground is a new Boise community chorus devoted to the expansion, perfection, rehearsal and performance of high quality standard, popular and contemporary choral music. It seeks to display the positive face of the disenfranchised and progressive citizens of the Boise Valley and beyond, welcoming and recognizing people of all walks of life. Common Ground is excited to get our first season under way. Weekly rehearsals begin on Monday, September 10, 2007. Common Ground is currently seeking more singers to join our cause. A simple audition is required. Please go to the (contact us) page to fill out an audition request form. Our artistic director will contact you to set up an audition. Artistic Director Kristopher Jenkins is an established choral director and teacher. In addition to his work with Common Ground he teaches choral and general music studies at Eagle Middle School and Galileo Math and Science Magnet for the Meridian School District. A graduate of Boise State University, Kris has strong ties to the Boise choral community. His love of Jazz and American Musicals influences his work with Common Ground. He consistently creates fun and energetic performance opportunities and provides for an exciting spirited rehearsal. In addition to his work with Common Ground, Kris is also the co-chair of the Boise Pride organization. His collaboration with last year’s Pride committee helped to inspire and create our annual event, Boise Queer Idol. Board of Directors Our in house board of directors is lead by JJ Bullock. They are extremely committed members of the choir who contribute an additional amount of time each month to plan and organize the workings of the choir. Without them we could not function. A huge thanks goes out to all that they do.
